I have had a .Mac/Mobile Me account since early…I don’t use all of the features (Busy, ok?), but it has saved my ass a couple of times. (On a “raw” machine, I was able to get out to .Mac, get my Yojimbo license key, then download and install the app itself. Then I sync the empty database with the version synched to .Mac. We know that MobileMe’s launch has not been our finest hour, and we truly appreciate your patience as we turn this around. Read this article for more details.
Microsoft, on the other hand, owes me some apologies. Grande, chocolate-covered, multi-apologies, along with some sort of Coupon. (wait for it…)
Bupkis. No chocolate, nothing. Not even a lump of coal.
Apple isn’t perfect, for sure… but I’m only rarely enraged by their behavior, which is nice, karma-wise.
